Single chain actuators use one chain mechanism to open and close windows, suitable for standard-sized and regular-shaped windows. Double chain actuators (also known as Twin), on the other hand,  consist of a single actuator with two chains that can control two separate components, working in unison. This setup provides balanced force distribution across wider or heavier windows, preventing strain on the window frame and ensuring smooth operation. Twin chain actuators are ideal for coordinating the movement of two linked elements, such as opening and closing a double window, providing additional stability and strength compared to single-chain actuators.
