Project Overview

We initially carried out a site visit to establish the condition of the existing systems and found that multiple sets were inoperable in their current state and needed changing. It was also requested to add simple chain restrictors onto the windows as they opened into the building on hinges that would allow unrestricted opening if fixings were to ever fail.

Installed Equipment

There were mixtures of various gearbox types (heavy duty Maxi-style operators, and lighter duty Midi-style operators) all finished in black.

Black finish Teleflex manual winding gear was used in all cases including:
Maxi-Style Operating Kits – Each operating 2 vents, with 2x 250mm chain openers per vent and a max 6 metre conduit run, and also wall-mounting saddle brackets

Midi-Style Operating Kits – Each operating 1 vent, with 1x 250mm chain opener per vent and a max 3 metre conduit run, and also wall-mounting saddle brackets
