- What size options are available for Roof Hatches?
There is a wide range of common roof hatch sizes, too many to fully list here but some example ranges are below. If you have very specific requirements, we can have a bespoke size manufactured. 750 x 2250 1200 x 1200 900 x 900 1650 x 1650
- Can you supply flat glass AOVs?
Yes! Glass rooflights over a much better visual appearance than a polycarbonate domes and have other benefits like sound dampening. Although they are much heavier and made to order so expect longer lead times for these products.

Yes, our popular AOV kits page contains the details. Our common kits for stairwells include pitched roof skylights, glazed louvres, and roof hatches.
- Can I automate my electric openers on my skylight?
Yes you can automate your electric openers, it is more about the controls you select. Such as temperature controls which will automatically open and close your window. We also stock wind a rain sensors to make sure your space is comfortable and protected.
- Can I retrofit electric window openers to Velux windows?
Yes if your Velux window isn’t currently electrically operated, we can select an electric opener to fit your existing window
- How can I control my Velux skylight?
We have a range of controls we can offer, from a basic switch, remote control and temperature controls which can open and close automatically and close if it rains
