Smoke Vent Louvres

Smoke vent louvres are made up of rotating blades that open automatically during a fire to release smoke and heat from the building. They are a popular choice where maintaining the building’s appearance is important.

Available with glazed or aluminium blades, smoke vent louvres can be used on façades, roofs and smoke shafts. They have the benefit of offering good ventilation area and work well where obstructions may prevent normal window operation. Our smoke vent louvres are manufactured to meet relevant standards, including BS EN 12101-2 and Approved Document B.

Our Louvres supplied with actuators pre-installed and are tested as a complete unit in accordance with BS EN 12101-2.

Most commonly installed at the head of smoke shafts, flat roof smoke vent louvres are typically supplied with aluminium blades. They can also be used for other roof-level smoke vent systems, with glazed options available where natural daylight is required.
