Pitched roof skylight AOVs are widely used at the head of protected stairwells, and adjacent corridors to provide smoke and heat exhaust ventilation and keep the evacuation route clear for building occupants. There are several standardized size configurations for a variety of joist layouts and sizes. They are sold with flashing kits to suit slate, concrete and plain tiles.
